Congratulations to Samantha Cabiles of Michigan's Arctic FSC, who presented a magnificent Novice Freeskate test on Dec 16 2010. Normally, I don't do these congratulatory notes until skaters pass their Senior FS, but, well, this test looked a whole lot like a Senior test. Sammy showed extraordinarily high, flowing jumps; wonderfuly positioned and rotated spins, and amazing attention to music and presentation. Her test was a true pleasure to watch.
