On Oct 25 2011 Ayumi Takanami passed her Senior MIF test, having completed all 8 tests within a period of 20 months.
Ayumi is 10 years old. She is originally from Japan and has lived in Michigan for the past 4 years. She has been skating for 3 years, representing the Detroit SC. She will be returning home to Japan in December, and had set as a goal to pass her Senior Moves before she moved. She began testing in February of 2010, and on October 25th, 2011 passed her Senior test, completing all 8 tests in 20 months. In addition, Ayumi has accomplished all of her double jumps through Double Lutz and is currently a Juvenile level freestyle skater. She competed at her second Regionals this season, placing 4th in the Pre-Juvenile Final Round (pic pic pic). She is also partially through her Pre-Silver dance tests.
